Primary Care Trusts (PCTs)
Primary Care Trusts are NHS organisations with responsibility for planning and providing local health services for people in their area. PCTs have their own budgets, properties and staff and work in partnership with other local organisations. Every PCT has a leaflet called Guide to Your Local Health Services available from PALS office if required (see “PALS” entry in this section).
